‘Cyprus De-Coloured’ documentary

Watch this short but emotionally-engaging documentary film entitled “Cyprus De-coloured”. It represents the work of a bi-communal group of young Cypriots who call themselves the “Fourteen Thinking-Hats”.

Cyprus premiere of ‘Shadows and Faces’ film

The Cyprus premiere of “Shadows and Faces” will take place at Cyprus Community Media Centre on Saturday the 5 March at 15:00. The screening will be followed by an open discussion during which the film crew composed of both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots will take part.

“Shadows and Faces” is a feature film directed by Dervis Zaim, an award winning Turkish Cypriot film director, about the incidents that took place during the inter-communal clashes in Cyprus 1963. This story is inspired by a real-life incident that took place during the inter-communal clashes between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots, and presents its own myths and belief in peace within an impressive visual and dramatic structure. Shadows and Faces (2010), won the Turkish Film Critics Association Award at the 47th International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
