Home for Cooperation opens this week!

h4cflyerCCMC member the Association for Historical Dialogue & Research (AHDR) are inaugurating their new shared Home for Cooperation in the buffer zone this week. Excitement is reaching fever pitch as we count down the days to the launch. There will be a range of events going on between 6 and 9 May 2011, so please check the attached flyer for the full schedule.

Kickstarter for Wonder Women project! Your help needed!

wwimageA Kickstarter campaign has been launched to raise funds to support the Wonder Women project, bringing New York based artists to Cyprus, as well as to fund the Brooklyn exhibition in July. If you’re feeling generous and want to find out more about the project or donate to the artists, the exhibition and a continuation of the project in Cyprus, please visit the Kickstarter fundraiser page here by 14th May. Wonder Kickstarter is an online platform that allows artists and designers to post projects – a video and project description – to the site with a goal of funds to raise to help realise the project.

Key Issues in Development Studies: book presentation

CCMC member the NGO Support Centre, in cooperation with the European Studies Club of the European University Cyprus, invite you to the presentation of the book «From the Local to the Global: Key Issues in Development Studies» on Wednesday 4 May, at 16:30, Auditorium A, European University Cyprus. The book will be presented by Dr. Gerard McCann.
Dr. Gerard McCann is a Senior Lecturer in European Studies and Geography at St. Mary’s University College, Queen’s University, Belfast. He is Director of the Global Dimension in Education project (SMUC) and has written extensively on the European Union’s economic, education and development policies.
